Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with East Coast Designing. We want you to be delighted with your purchase. Please read the following policy carefully to understand your rights and options regarding returns and refunds.

 

1. Return Window

  • You may request a return or refund within 30 days from the date you receive your order.

 

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.

  • Products must be returned with original packaging, tags, and accessories (if any).

  • You must provide a proof of purchase (order number or invoice).

Products showing signs of use, damage, or alteration may not be eligible for a refund.

 

3. Free Return Shipping

We offer free return shipping on all eligible returns.
After your return request is approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and detailed instructions.

 

4. No Restocking Fees

We do not charge any restocking fees. Your refund will include the full price of the returned item once it has been received and approved.

 

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as Final Sale

  • Custom-made or personalized products (unless defective or damaged)

  • Items that show signs of wear, misuse, or alteration

  • Digital products or services

  • Gift cards

 

6. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return:

  1. Contact our Customer Support team at support@eastcoastdesigning.com

  2. Include the following:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)

  3. Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will send:

    • A return authorization

    • A prepaid return label

    • Instructions on how and where to ship

Note: Returns without authorization may not be accepted.

 

7. Refund Processing

  • Once we receive your return and inspect the item, we will notify you by email regarding approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Shipping costs from the original order may be refunded if the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect item).

 

8. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Include your order number and photos of the issue.

  • We will replace or refund the item at no extra cost, including shipping costs for the return.

 

9. Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before they are shipped.
Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible — you must follow the return process above
